Here you will find what you can expect in the next version of XP Unlimited.
We would like you to send us an email in case you have ideas about the functionality XP Unlimited should deliver. We
really appreciate your contribution in making XP Unlimited better.
(Forbidden to send us unsolicited email or spam)
The XPU logon - look-and-feel as implimented in XPU for Windows XP and Windows Server, will be made customizable. Currently an orange popup is shown. It will be possible to change this look-and-feel Done.
- Improve the load balancing algorithm, such that it can traverse networks with NAT.
- SSL server beneath the current webserver.
- Port to 64 bit. Possibly we will not do this for Windows XP 64 bit.
Another license type that will make it easier for the customer to migrate its license to a new server.
- Universal and / or PDF printer. Possible some kind of printer control program, different and more limited then the Windows Shell printer control.
- Vista: some kind of mix between the default Explorer desktop and our limited Application Control.
Windows XP Service Pack 3. Billy Gates has once again changed some RDP specifications and sometimes it ain't working.
Translation to different languages.
- Create an audit file, containing the logon and logoff of each user.
- Think about the combination of XPU and TS RDP Gateway. We are not yet sure whether or not TS RDP Gateway is really important.
- Improve "shadowing" and "controlling" users. Currently with Vista this is a bit difficult because it requires elevated Administrator rights.
- A few dozen improvements based on ZIP Support Files we received........
Again, please let us know what you think of this roadmap and what you would like to see in XP Unlimited.
